On January 3, it is learned from the freight transport center of Jinhua that on the first day of the new year, "Yiwu-Xinjiang-Europe" China-Europe Train made six trips of 600 TEU and made two sea-railway inter-modal trips, earning a transportation revenue of RMB 52.35 million, creating a historical new height in terms of single-day transportation revenue of the operation department of Yiwu.

Since it was opened in 2014, the "Yiwu-Xinjiang-Europe" Train's scale has kept expanding and become the China-Europe train operation route that covers the largest number of countries and the longest routes. So far, the number of routes has increased to 11 and along the routes, 4 branches and 5 logistics distribution centers have been established to link up 37 countries and regions of Eurasia. Later, the annual number of train trips has increased from 35 in 2015 to 528 in 2019. A total of nearly 1,200 trips have been made, transporting over 90,000 TEUs of freight.

It’s reported that in 2019 the trips of "Yiwu-Xinjiang-Europe" Train have grown by 68.7% and the transported volume of freight grown by 80.7% year on year, witnessing a new breakthrough of "Yiwu Series" trains. Yiwu West Station has become a national railway network logistics base, one of the six open railway ports of China and the only county-level open railway port of China, the only operation station of China-Europe Train in Zhejiang Province and one of the new startling points of China’s New Land Silk Road and New Maritime Silk Road.
