On January 18, 2020, Jinhua Overseas Chinese Merchants Association in Southern African held the 2020 New Year Friendship Party in Johannesburg, with all members of the board of supervisors and their members joining in. 

At the party, Hu Lanying delivered a speech on behalf of the president of the Jinhua Overseas Chinese Merchants Association in Southern Africa. She said that on the eve of the Spring Festival, she would like to wish all the members of the board of supervisors and supervisors a Chinese New Year Happy and good luck.

She introduced that in the past year, with the sincere unity and hard work of the chamber's cadres, the association has achieved good results. It has not only received government delegations from Zhejiang but also enterprises from China. This delegation contributed to the exchanges between the two places in various aspects; at the same time, the association also actively participated in the various work of the Overseas Chinese Community in South Africa and worked hard to play a role in the promotion of the harmony of the Overseas Chinese. 

At the fraternity meeting, Hu Lanying also issued New Year red envelopes to the association officials and their family members, wishing everyone a prosperous and harmonious new year.
