On January 18, the Chinese Embassy in South Africa held an open day event themed with Chinese New Year. Guests from all corners of the society entered the "garden-style" embassy and received a strong vibe of happiness and joy.
In the interactive experience area, all the guests participated in the interaction and took a group photo wearing Chinese traditional costumes. People tried interesting activities such as guessing lantern riddles, depicting lucky characters, writing couplets, and drawing kites, and so on.
Mr. Lin, an ambassador of the Embassy held a media briefing at the site, saying that this is the first time that the Chinese Embassy in South Africa has hosted an open day event for all friends. Lin said that only by being open to each other, being friends with each other, coexisting harmoniously, cooperating and winning together, and building a community of a shared future for mankind, can we share a world of fairness, justice, democracy, peace, and prosperity.
