2019 SWIX·FIS Cross-country Skiing China City Sprint Tour kicked off in Hangzhou

Around 2 o'clock in the afternoon on December 18th, the "2019 SWIX·FIS Cross-country Skiing China City Sprint Tour" was ongoing. And the Huanglong Sports Center was transformed into a ski resort. 


Cross-country skiing in the city center is new to Hangzhou people. Although it was a working day, the square was still full of people.


The game yesterday attracted more than 100 cross-country skiing excellent players from 13 countries around the world to participate, including Bergstrom, who won three NCAA Championships, and Lundgren, Champion of the 2014-2015 Scandinavian Cup.


On the day, the temperature in Hangzhou was low, but for many athletes, it was still the hottest game they have ever participated in.

It is the first time that the FIS Cross-country Skiing China City Sprint Tour has crossed the Yangtze River to arrive at Hangzhou. It took around ten days to build this 11,000-square-meter arena.


Although it was a working day yesterday, many spectators signed up early to watch the game.
