Childrenswear industry is booming in Zhili town of Huzhou city in East China's Zhejiang province, the hinterland of the Yangtze River Delta economic circle.


Gathering more than 14,000 children's clothing enterprises, Zhili town sold more than 1.5 billion pieces of children's clothing (sets) in 2023, accounting for two-thirds of childrenswear sales in China.


With childrenswear the largest leading industry, Zhili's annual sales of children's clothing reached 80 billion yuan ($11.11 billion) in 2023, with online transaction exceeding 30 billion yuan.
