On September 14, one of Alibaba's researching organ Ali Research released the list of China Top 100 Taobao Villages, most of which are mainly distributed in 11 provincial-level administrative regions, including Zhejiang, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Shandong, Fujian, and other eastern coastal areas with a good industrial belt foundation.

The Model of "Taobao Village" forms a new digital industrial belt in China and also restructures the pattern of China's county economy. It is worth noting that Hebei, Henan, Hubei, and other central and western provinces have also emerged in this year's list. Zhijiang of Hubei province, which has been hardest hit by the epidemic this year, has risen to be one of the top 100 members in this list. 

The recent data released by Alibaba shows that the number of Taobao villages in the central and western regions and northeast regions has doubled year-on-year since this year, and the number of Taobao towns has increased by nearly 80% year-on-year, strongly driving the rural economy.

The top 100 Taobao villages are generally distributed into 40 prefecture-level cities in China, most of which are located in Wenzhou, Quanzhou, Suzhou, Taizhou, Jinhua, Guangzhou, Shantou, Foshan, Hangzhou, Wuxi, and other counties and cities with a good industrial base. However, prefecture-level cities with a general industrial base, such as Heze in Shandong province, Linyi in Shandong Province, Xingtai in Hebei Province, have also been listed on the Top 100 Taobao Villages.
