on July 22, the Hangwei Noodle Restaurant opened at Ant Z Space, Hangzhou, ushered in the peak of the day's crowd. Jiang Junchang, the boss in a black T-shirt, trots all the way within the shop.
"Ant Financial Group is going public," 38-year-old Jiang Junchang introduced. His shop has been here for several years, and it sells almost 600 bowls of noodles every day, with a turnover of over one million yuan a year.
"We are probably the first noodle shop in Hangzhou to scan QR code to order food, pay with face-scanning payment, and pay with Alipay," Jiang said that the young people who work in the Ant Financial Group will do tests in his shop every time they develop a new application software.
The store closes at 9 pm, but many people here are still working overtime at this point. Jiang will always cook for young people as long as the door is not closed. Jiang knows sometimes a bowl of noodles is a comfort for people who worked hard during day and night.
Jiang also has an old store, which opened in 2013 beside the original Alipay building on the Wantang Road. After 7 years, rows of shops have been opened and closed, but only his still stand.
In fact, Jiang is affected by the work atmosphere around and becomes a dream-chaser. He said, "My dream is to run a noodle shop full of technology. For example, it can be paid without any people serving there. This is also the ‘Hangzhou taste’ which we pursue.”
