On July 28, Eleme online food platform announced the launch of the "Knight Fortress" plan with 26,000 offline stores in 120 cities, adding more than 6,000 offline stores to temporarily rest the Blue Riders and offering meals and water.
Summer has always been a rather difficult period for takeaway riders. In order to provide better protection for the blue riders who are sending orders under the scorching sun, Eleme has called on merchants to open up an exclusive area for the blue knights when conditions permit so that the riders can be more orderly and comfortable taking meals and rest.
This year, the Blue Riders Inn is undergoing a comprehensive upgrade. In addition to adding more than 6,000 stations, it will also provide riders with services other than rest, such as mobile phone charging, free fruits, and welfare meals. Besides restaurants, many retail stores have also joined the "Knight Fortress" plan.
The "Knight Fortress" is open to riders on all takeout platforms, and can locate the post nearby through the Hummingbird app.
At the same time, Eleme also created their own honor system for them, using light blue, dark blue, and golden bamboo dragonflies as "medals" to distinguish the different "levels" of the blue knights. On that day, 116 blue knights were awarded the title of "Blue Riders of Justice" and were awarded golden dragonflies.
