Creativity enriches our life softly, without sound.

Recently, the property management staff of a local residential community in the Zhenhai District of Ningbo City sharpened their “management skills” by turning wasted materials into creative sculptures.

The residential community is called Hanxiang Jingting, which is located in the Zhenhai District of Ningbo City, a coastal city of Zhejiang Province. The community includes a total of around 1,200 households.

Zhang Ying, manager of the Property Management Service Center of the community came up with the idea of turning the wasted materials into creative sculptures.

After a short panel discussion with her colleagues within the Center, Ms. Zhang decided to put her ideas into practice by initiating a “tank” with wasted tires.

As discussed, the property management team squeezed their time to search for all kinds of available materials, including the discarded boards left by residents during the decoration, the useless tires from the garage, the lamp belts left after the festival in the community, the old street lamp poles, the tent supports damaged by the strong wind during the epidemic, and so on.

After all the materials have been collected, they cut, welded, polished, and colored the items in a relatively hidden space behind the property service center. The work was done professionally with no sloppiness.

There were a lot of cut tire leftovers after the 'tank' was made. Some of them became part of the "Olympic rings". The rest was made into an "angry bird" by Wei Pinghuan, a young worker of property management.

"To make the 'angry bird' is not as easy as it looks like. But there is a sense of achievement after I finished the production!" Wei Pinghuan said with a smile.

"We like the creativity of the property workers to turn waste into treasure!" Mr. Lin, a resident of the community, said, "these ideas not only add a fresh vibe to the community but also enable our children to learn environmental protection knowledge."
