On June 8, the Yangtze River Delta Green Product Certification Seminar with the theme of "Promoting Green Certification Together and Sharing Green Development" was held in Anji Yu Village, Zhejiang Province. The Market Supervision and Administration Bureaus of one Municipality and three Provinces in the Yangtze River Delta jointly issued the "Yu Village Shanghai-Jiangsu-Zhejiang-Anhui Joint Initiative to Promote Green Product Certification in the Yangtze River Delta", which means that green product certification has officially moved from Huzhou, Zhejiang, further to the Yangtze River Delta region.

In April 2018, Huzhou, Zhejiang, was approved as the only pilot city for green product certification. At present, more than 80% of enterprises in Huzhou that have passed the green product certification have obtained green credit preferential benefit. The pilot reform has initially reduced the institutional transaction costs of enterprises while improving the supply of green products and consumers' sense of acquisition.

In recent years, based on the Huzhou pilot, Zhejiang Provincial Market Supervision Bureau has been continuing to push forward the green certification reform in the whole province. So far, the province's green product certification category has been extended to 12 categories including coatings, paper products, and wall materials. The certification of green products has been gradually expanded from Huzhou to the whole province.

The official in Zhejiang Provincial Market Supervision Bureau said that Zhejiang would build a certification standard system for green products with Zhejiang characteristics, focusing on co-construction and increasing the demonstration and application of green products.
