We are excited to bring you the 1st Silk Road Week Coloring Contest! If you are talented in color and painting, please come and join us! 

Introduction

The coloring contest is part of the associated activities of the 1st Silk Road Week which will be held from June 19-24, 2020. There will be six different themes of the contest. The schedule of the contest is as follows: 

   May 14 to 18: The winged horse of Silk Road

   May 21 to 25: Patterns of Dunhuang

   May 28 to June 1: The tapestry of Silk Road  

   June 4 to 8: Jiaxie (indigo print) of Silk Road

   June 11 to 15: Lion patterns of Silk Road

   June 19 to 22: Circular flower patterns of Silk Road 

Submission of Entries

Participants may choose one of the line drawings, and use computer software or freehand sketching to finish it with your full imaginations. 

Completed entries shall be sent to 1042982037@qq.com with the mail title "Silk Road Week 2020 Coloring Contest + Name + Contact details) 

Assessment and Judging Criteria

Assessment will be made according to the painting skills and use of color, creativity, and aesthetics. 

Announcement of Results and Prizes

Excellent entries will get a fine gift prepared by the China National Silk Museum. The winners of the current theme will be announced when the next theme is announced. The prizes will be sent out after the contest.
