At the beginning of this year, the "National Live Broadcast" initiative was carried out by leading cadres, returned young entrepreneurs, and large planters who are enthusiastic about being online anchors in Quzhou. Accordingly, the local government has set up a "Village Broadcasting College" to make a training platform available for experience exchanging, and a tour of "Local Live Broadcast Competition" has been regularly held. During the epidemic, these "local live broadcasters" counted as a bright spot, being an important force for the local farmers to increase their income.
Humorous yet simple, the peasants from Quzhou with distinct "local characters" find their new occupation as "local live broadcasters".
Shaping Quzhou's "Li Ziqi": A team of professional instructors is in service for broadcasters
In fact, rural revitalization in Quzhou was vexed by the shortage of talents.
Therefore, in March this year, the Organization Department of Changshan county Party Committee in Quzhou held a forum for more than 30 live broadcast candidates. To their amazement, the heated discussion revealed the fact that there had long been some ignored talents of farmer live broadcasting.
Among the young candidates, Yu Xiaoqing, who has worked in the e-commerce industry for 9 years in Hangzhou, is now running a TikTok ID of his own business at home.
On March 11, Changshan officially established the "Village Broadcasting College" and Yu Xiaoqing joined the first batch of "local + external" village broadcasting lecturers group. Their works are to deliver lectures and guide the "Local Live Broadcast Competition" by regularly touring to each town.
Farmers tell "the most native" stories: Higher value-added space for agricultural products
At the end of March, a live broadcast competition of "Comes Spring, Go Changshan" was held in Qingshi town by 30 local live broadcasters from six counties in Quzhou City. The exciting competition created a record high of 180,000 people watching online.
"In fact, the best way to show earthy products is a live broadcast." Yu Xiaoqing said that in the past, online e-commerce was merely available for towns and villages while individuals have no easy access to it. Now farmers are able to show their vivid local life to consumers simply by mobile phones.
Extending the live broadcast ecological chain: New village incubates, new industry and new brand
Last year, Kecheng cooperated with an e-commerce Ltd. to hold pieces of training for hundreds of people, which popularized live broadcast knowledge from "flow" to "selection" for farmers and village level entrepreneurs within a week.
Live broadcasting is a complete ecological chain. Behind a mature anchor, there are supporting works such as broadcasting aid, selection, field control, order operation, and storage management.
Extending from this industrial chain, there is a bigger ambition--to establish its own brands of agricultural products and rural features through characteristic industrial belt laid by live broadcasting.
The first Alibaba "Village Broadcasting College" opened in the Rural Revitalization complex of Wantian Township, Kecheng District, with 50 farmers holding admission notices, eager to try.
As "kindling" appeared, to form a raging fire of live broadcast requires guidance from the local government. Besides, it is extremely promising that more and more capital is invested in the countryside.
The "Village Broadcasting College" in Kecheng District supports farmer anchors with no threshold and tuition, and it has now become a new model for e-commerce to help develop rural revitalization.
