More than 400 years ago, Tang Xianzu (a great opera artist and writer in the Ming Dynasty), the county magistrate of Suichang County at that time wrote beautiful poems here. He wrote: "In Spring, so green is the mountain and so clear is the river, and the man walks on the picturesque misty mountain path in the Shanyin, a place in the Shaoxing City of Zhejiang Province. 

Although Tang Xianzu passed away, the Tang Xianzu Opera Town gives people the opportunity to meet Tang Gong's works across time and space.

The Guanju Cultural Park is the core part of the Tang Xianzu Opera Town. The park is divided into two parts, which includes the eastern part and the Western part. It displays the love culture in Tang Xianzu and Shakespeare's works and let them collide and communicate in the form of scene experience of Eastern and Western love.

The design and construction work focus on every tiny detail including each brick, tile, flower, and grass. In the back garden covering an area of 11,700 square meters, visitors can see landscape everywhere and see "Peony Pavilion "everywhere.

Walking through a small 30-meter bridge is about to start construction of the Western. The Stratford town, Shakespeare's former home, will be restored here and the classic scenes from his great work Romeo and Juliet will reappear here.

Walking further down the garden, the reporter sees a round rockery which is up high beside a green lake. The rockery constitutes of stair-like layers one after another without any landscape designed. After a few steps, the reporter reaches the top of the rockery and enjoy a panoramic view.

"It's a stand that can rotate in 180 degrees." Zhuo Yanjie, the General Manager of the Guanju Cultural Park said. Under the rockery, technicians are opening the manhole cover to carry out equipment maintenance. Through the manhole, the reporter sees that there are steel beams on the bottom of the entire rockery which are framed in a ring track. The rockery can rotate by driving of the gear through the motor.

The back garden is not only the actual version of "Peony Pavilion ", but in the future, it will also be a real scene performance venue, the National Intangible Cultural Heritage Project" Kun Opera (One of the oldest traditional Chinese Opera) in form of Shifan (a kind of instrumental performance form)" will also be performed here.

"Now the Culture Park attracts a lot of people to come here to take pictures and videos." Zhuo Yanjie introduces. The Cultural Park is located in the territory of Sanren She Minority Township, only 5 kilometers away from the center of the County. It is a transportation hub connecting the villages and towns in the west of Suichang and the scenic spots such as Qianfoshan, Hushan, and Nanjianyan.

In the eastern Chinese-style commercial pedestrian street, there are antique buildings along both sides of the pedestrian street one after another, those large or small stores are under the late municipal construction. Zhuo Yanjie talks about the planning and assumption of the whole Guanju Cultural Park Project with the reporter: a multi-functional one-stop tourism health resort is planned to be created with opera as its foundation and culture as its soul.
