On the morning of April 24, in the Zhongxi New Village of Pinghu City in Zhejiang Province, the dietitian Cao Yinfang finished testing blood pressure and blood sugar for the villager Fu Chuanying. Later, Cao gave advice on how to make a healthy lunch.
In the rural areas of Pinghu, villagers live well, eat well, but do less exercise, especially for those middle-aged and elderly villagers who are now suffering from chronic diseases such as hypertension and diabetes.
In March this year, Pinghu focused on urban and rural areas, deployed a sanitation campaign for clean homes, and comprehensively promoted the improvement of urban and rural environmental sanitation quality, the improvement of the quality of civilized sanitation, and the improvement of national health. It initiated the formation of a team of 100 rural qualified dietitians to popularize healthy living knowledge.
In response to the dietary habits of rural people, Pinghu Patriotic Health Development Center and Disease Control Center jointly designed a menu drafted by dietitians to control the intake of salt and oil.
