The students of Yangzheng Elementary School started to wear a 'one-meter hat' when going to school. Deputy principal Hong Feng said: "It’s a new idea: wear a 'one-meter hat' and keep one meter away.

Before returning back to school, children were asked to create their own 'one-meter hat'  with their parents at home. 

The school principal said during the interview that the 'one meter hat' campaign can give children an intuitive impression about what 'social distancing' is during the pandemic outbreak. In addition to the hat, the school has also held other activities to increase children's awareness of health protection and other knowledge that is essential to their health.
