On April 15, according to the Hangzhou City Garden Relics Bureau, the Chinese roses in overpasses are about to enter the full-bloom period before April 25.

Since 2009, under the active advocacy of the Hangzhou Municipal Garden Relics Bureau, Hangzhou has begun to promote the growth of Chinese roses in various types of greenbelts in urban areas.

After more than 10 years of continuous development, Hangzhou owns a total of 2.05 million Chinese rose varieties of all kinds and is now the No.1 city which has the largest number of Chinese roses.

The colorful Chinese rose gardens have become the most beautiful scenery in this "national ecological garden city".

Hangzhou is particularly outstanding in growing Chinese roses along the overpasses. After years of practice, Hangzhou has concluded a set of mature systems for "Chinese roses on overpass" growth, maintenance, and management. As it already reached a high level in the whole of China, and the model has been learned and copied by many cities.

Every year when the Chinese rose is in bloom, citizens will take their families to drive around the overpasses in order to enjoy the beauty of the Chinese roses.

At present, in Hangzhou city, there are 1.03 million Chinese roses on the 17 viaducts and overpasses, covering almost all the main roads.

Spring and autumn are seasons when Chinese rose blooms most and it is the best time to enjoy flowers.

Currently, among those overpasses, there are 60% of Chinese rose in the Shangtang overpass, Liushi overpass and have bloomed. And it will spend then 2-3 days entering the full-bloom period. Other varieties types of Chinese rose have started to pop up, and according to the weather situation, after 7-10 days it will enter the full-bloom period. 

When the Chinese rose flowers are blooming all over Hangzhou, citizens and tourists are welcomed to enjoy the unique landscape of this city.

4月15日，记者从杭州市园林文物局获悉，全城高架月季即将迎来盛花期，高架月季整体盛花期预计在4月25日前。

2009年开始，在杭州市园文局的积极倡导下，杭州开始在城区各类绿地中大力推广月季的应用。

经过十余年的不断发展，各类月季品种共205万株，现成为南方城市中保有月季数量最多的城市。

每年盛开时节，绚烂多彩的月季花廊已成为这座“国家生态园林城市”中最靓丽的一道风景线。

相比于其它类型的月季应用方式，杭州在高架桥挂箱月季绿化应用方面成绩尤为卓越，多年实践中市园文局总结出了一套成熟的高架月季建设、养护管理体系，其水平已经走在了全国的前列，模式被多个城市所学习、复制。

每年月季盛开时节，市民为了一睹月季空中花廊的风采，会特意带着家人开车去逛高架。

目前，杭州城区十七条高架及立交桥上挂箱栽有月季103万株，覆盖几乎所有主干道。

月季在杭州春秋时节花开最盛，观赏效果最佳，所以若要欣赏杭州月季之美就一定要把握好时间。

在各处高架月季中，目前——上塘高架、留石高架上的月季品种仙境已开花60%，再过2-3天即进入盛花期。其它月季品种已露色，根据天气情况，7-10天会陆续进入盛花期。
