If you use a drone to conduct an aerial photography assignment at Langling natural village of Xiyang Village, Wenchang Town, you will absolutely be shocked by the sight through the lens of the country road known as "Xinlang Line".

Chun'an county is known as the "Prefecture of a Thousand Mountains", as nearly one-fifth of its villages are built on mountains and roads winding around the mountains form several "hairpin turns". In the areas deeply enclosed by the mountains, there are "hairpin turns" which hare even more winding than "Xinlang Line". Notable among them is the "Chunhuang Line" in Jiukeng Town, a country road with fifteen sharp bends.

In recent years, Chun’an County made every effort to develop the area's transportation. The annual traffic investment each year accounted for more than 70% of the total investment made by the county’s government. Thus far, there are over 2,801 km of highway in Chun’an County, of which country roads exceed 2,669 km, ranking highest in the province.

The development of the transportation industry has triggered a chain effect of rural revitalization and brought the most remarkable benefits to the tourism sector. According to the statistics of the Tourism Administration of Chun’an County, In the five-year period from 2001 to 2005, before the opening of the Hangzhou-Qiandaohu Expressway, the county received an average of 1.047 million tourists from home and abroad each year and earned an income of 950 million yuan from tourism. In the five-year period from 2006 to 2010, after the opening of the Hangzhou-Qiandaohu Expressway, the county received 1.663 million tourists and income which increased to 3.17 billion yuan.

After the Hangzhou-Huangshan High-speed Railway was opened, tourism at the Thousand-island Lake developed at a faster pace. In 2019, the county received 18.845 million tourists and earned 22.752 billion yuan from tourism, a growth of 10.51% and 18.76% respectively.

In the new year, greater improvements will be made to the transportation industry in Chun’an. For example,  the Qiandaohu-Huangshan expressway will be completed, which will add another convenient access to the golden tourist route of “Hangzhou-Thousand-island Lake-Huangshan Mountain”; The Fengshuling-Changshan Highway will also be completed, which will relieve the bottleneck of traffic in the southwest of Chun’an; The Hangzhou-Chun'an-Kaihua Expressway will also commence the first stage of preparation.
