On the morning of October 25, at the governmental affairs service center of Lishui City, Ma Jianmei, a native of Qingtian Lishui living in St. Paulo of Brazil, managed to finish notary service for banking with Lishui's global service platform for overseas Chinese and entrust a domestic Agricultural Bank to cancel loss reporting, which only took 49 minutes throughout the process.

Lishui has 415,000 overseas Chinese compatriots and compatriots of Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan distributed in over 130 countries and regions around the world. In the past, overseas Chinese have to come back to China from abroad to handle issues such as real estate registration and notary service, which requires a high travel expense for their return trips. For this reason, Lishui has set a special area at the lobby on the 5th floor of its governmental service center and opened a global service platform for overseas Chinese. Three overseas liaison stations have been set in three cities, Madrid of Spain, Rome of Italy and St. Paulo of Brazil where overseas Chinese are relatively concentrated, which can now handle the appointments of overseas Chinese for over 180 issues.

In the next step, Lishui will keep extending its reform of "making one trip at most" and enable more overseas Chinese compatriots to benefit from the convenience brought by reform by promoting the normalization of internet + governmental service.
