In Haiyan, northeast Zhejiang Province, there is a place that will subvert your imagination of pigs.

At the beginning of 2018, the "Piggy Planet" theme park was officially open to consumers. This national 3A-level scenic spot with the theme of pig culture is a new project of Qinglian Food Group on promoting the Integrated Development of the Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary Industries, a national leading agricultural enterprise. It has received more than 300,000 tourists since its opening.

A "star pig" that can perform living in the park

The first phase of "Piggy Planet" covers an area of 225 mu. It combines the cute pig performance, children's play, scientific education, food and beverage shopping, etc., allowing consumers to truly understand the story, culture and history behind the industry while advocating a new carnivorous culture.

On entering the park, you can see cartoon pig sculptures and recreation facilities in various shapes and conditions. Through the glass, all kinds of pigs will dazzle you. You can see pigs such as the two black-and-white short pigs; and the Jiaxing black pigs whose whole bodies are black, with large heads and wide foreheads. In the center of the stage, a group of pigs, under the instructions of the tamer, perform running, lapping, bowling and other special skills.

Taking the platform as a scenario lab

Behind the popularity of "Piggy Planet" is the masterpiece of the parent company Qinglian Food Group. When we walked into the exhibition hall of Internet of Things, we saw a 19-year-old industrial chain that is built around breeding, ecological farming, all-transparent processing plants, cold chain logistics, brand stores and even cultural tourism.

We stepped into the country’s first high-end all-pork banquet restaurant and enjoyed a good meal. A piece of pork in the hands of the chef through steaming, frying, boiling, and other cooking techniques, combined with a sophisticated plate and creative dishes, making the tasting very ritual.
