According to the news of Hangzhou Canal Group, the 6th China Grand Canal Temple Fair kicked off at the tourist attraction of Beijing-Hangzhou grand canal on October 17, which will last seven days from October 17 (Thursday) to October 23 (Wednesday), opened at 10:00-20:00 every day.


The opening ceremony of the temple fair this year will be held at the main venue Canal Paradise, where you can watch traditional performances such as Shengzhou wind and percussion and walking on stilts and participate in interactive lucky draw.


Four exhibition areas will be set at the main venue, including “selective products”, “agriculture”, “heritages” and foods”. The area of “selective products” will display and sell quality products of brand enterprises. The area of “agriculture” will mainly exhibit the agricultural and sideline products. The area of “heritages” will exhibit time-honored brands and intangible cultural heritages and cultural and creative products. The area of “foods” will gather delicacies from different places and stage music events of night market.


Other than the main venue, you should not miss the bazaars of the two sub-venues of the temple fair this year. The green ecology exhibition area of the Xiaohe historical and cultural block mainly displays the green and quality agricultural products delivered directly from the source. The intangible cultural heritage exhibition area of Qiaoxi historical and cultural block will include booths such as sugar painting production, Family Xia windmill toys, Wang Xingji fans and special snacks.


Unlike previous temple fairs, the temple fair this year has introduced a floating market. You can take a boat to buy characteristic cultural and creative products.
