On October 12, In Zhejiang sent a correspondent to the culture tour of Zhejiang Media Cooperation and Communication Forum with International Friendship Cities. The delegation paid visits to a series of attractions which represent the aura and authenticity of Zhejiang, such as the China National Silk Museum, Geely Group, and the Intelligent e-Valley. Along the way, all media veterans were mesmerized by the unique charm of Zhejiang cultures and the rapid development of the Zhejiang society. What’s more, they all agreed that frequent cultural exchanges among media professionals are significant to the building of a share community for mankind and world peace and development.

During the interviews with some of the media veterans, they all gave a thumbs-up for the significant achievements which are made by Zhejiang Province and were highly impressed by the speed of Zhejiang’s social development. Concepts such as splendid cultures, high speed and smart cities are frequent key words mentioned by media experts when they talked about Zhejiang.

A Malaysian journalist from See Hua Daily said that Chinese culture gives them a sense of cohesion and harmony, as a large number of people in Malaysia have Chinese origins, and he is really inspired a lot by the enterprising spirit of Chinese people, especially that of those people in Zhejiang Province.

When referring to the international landscape and global issues, those veterans also agreed that media cooperation has become a global phenomenon which will enhance the mutual understanding between diverse cultures and civilizations. In today’s international landscape, media is better placed than never before to bring the grand vision of building a community of shared future for mankind to reality and plays an irreplaceable role in the process of globalization and multi-polarization. Cultures, which are significant influence factors behind people’s thinking patterns, are not insular constructs; they are themselves the products of exchanges and cross-pollination. As professionals who are responsible for transmitting ideas and connotations of different cultures, cultural exchanges and dialogues among media outlets and journalists from different backgrounds are a must for the sake of world audience and the building of an international community.

The first day of the tour concluded with a pleasant high speed railway journey to Yiwu city. In the following days,  In Zhejiang will keep an eye on this culture tour and provide you with the latest news of this event. Please subscribe to us and get more details.
