It was "Yiwu-Xinjiang-Europe" China-Europe Freight Train's debut to serve the transportation of cross-border e-commerce fragmented orders. The reporter learned from the relevant officer in charge of Hangzhou Customs that among the 42 containers of the first travel of Cainiao, the value of the goods in these cross-border e-commerce parcels exceeded $290,000. "Initially as well, the number of single-day parcels exceeded 200,000 since Yiwu's cross-border e-commerce supervision center has been put into operation, setting a new high record." The person in charge said.

After its pioneering trip, Cainiao will come under the normal operation of two shifts a week. Cross-border e-commerce joins hands with China-Europe Freight Train to pioneer a new pattern of export trade in the Yangtze River Delta region.

"The operation of the cross-border e-commerce line will drive increasing Chinese goods to cluster in Yiwu, thereby further empowering Yiwu to build a 'world cargo land'. The main principals of the Yiwu Municipal Party Committee made a disclosure. It was clear that from January to August this year, Yiwu exported goods of 25.8 billion yuan to Europe, of which exports to Belgium accounted for 1 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 43%; Yiwu imported goods of 850 million yuan from Europe, of which 35 million yuan came from Belgium, a year-on-year increase of 261%.
