On October 8, the winners of international competition on International Horticultural Exhibition 2019 were announced. The Zhejiang Pavilion and the Zhejiang Outdoor Garden stood out and received two organizing committee awards. 

The Zhejiang Outdoor Garden, which was put on exhibition this time and designed with the theme of "mountains and rivers, nostalgia for Zhejiang", covered a total area of about 4,200 square meters. Zhejiang Outdoor Garden creates a realistic version of "Dwelling in the Fuchun Mountains" in the new era through five chapters -- origin, poetry, beauty, garden and sailing, by combining the ecological, cultural and historical characteristics of Zhejiang Province, and utilizing rich horticultural materials and landscaping techniques of Zhejiang School of Gardening. It spells out the production beauty, life beauty and ecological beauty of Zhejiang land under the guidance of the theory of "Lucid Waters and Lush Mountains are Invaluable Assets".

The Zhejiang exhibition area, located in the China Pavilion and with the theme of "Beautiful Zhejiang, Happy Life", vividly manifested the inheritance and innovation of the flower and horticulture industry of Zhejiang and the concept of green living through the five exhibition areas -- Zhejiang School bonsai display area, combined potted display area, traditional famous flower display area, modern horticultural display area and living experience area. Since the opening of the Expo, the landscape effect of the "Zhejiang Garden" and "Zhejiang Pavilion" has been well received by the Expo 2019 Beijing Coordinating Bureau, industry experts and tourists at home and abroad, and has become "a must-go place for influencers" of the Expo.

The reporter learned that Zhejiang has also been credited 478 awards in other single international competitions during the Expo, including 50 special prizes and 99 gold medals in addition to these two awards.
