Mainstream overseas media such as American Broadcasting Company (ABC), America FOX Cable Network, Kyodo News Agency of Japan, Australian Associated Press, Deutsche Presse-Agentur and Europa Press of Spain issued a news release with the title of Hangzhou’s Liangzhu Archaeological Site joins UNESCO World Heritage Site club. As Liangzhu Ancient City was inscribed onto the World Heritage List, the five-thousand-year civilization of China has been proven with solid evidence.

The news release has been issued and reprinted in 9 languages by nearly 360 mainstream overseas media of 20 countries from Asia-Pacific, European and American regions.


Agenzia Giornalistica Italia (AGI): Liangzhu ancient city, located in Hangzhou Zhejiang, was a center of power and faith of an early regional state in Taihu Lake Basin, which was discovered by Mr Shi Xingeng of Zhejiang Provincial West Lake Museum in 1936, who had discovered multiple pre-historic sites.


Europa Press of Spain and America Agriculture TV Channel: Liangzhu Ancient City archaeological site shows an early regional state dating to the late Neolithic Age of China, whose economy was supported by rice agriculture and where social differentiation and a unified faith system had come into being.
