The Untamed, a costume drama, co-starred by Xiao Zhan and Wang Yibo, has been aired and occupied the top position in the hot ranking lists of Weibo recently. Many familiar scenes in the show were shot in Pan’an, Jinhua. Last year, The Untamed was shot at Baizhang Pond, Xigao Village of Shuangfeng Town, Dalingtou Village of Panfeng town.

Adjacent to Hengdian, the “Hollywood of China,” Pan’an is blessed with natural landscapes and great cultural heritage. Several scenic areas and villages were registered as a film shooting base. Now they have become shooting locations of many films and TV drama shows.

Baizhang Pond film and TV location shooting base

Located at the upstream of Longxi Creek south of Pan’an county, Baizhang Pond tourist attraction is an AAAA-level tourist attraction and one of the first batch of “ecotourism areas.” The tourist attraction is famous for precipitous mountains, grotesque rocks, limpid water, secluded caves, and winding creeks. The new edition of the TV drama series The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber was shot here.

Shibawo location shooting base

Shibawo is the essence of water and rock landscape of the Jiaxi Gorge, with the largest moulin group in the area. A marvelous spectacle of “Grand Canyon in central Zhejiang” has been formed after the strong cutting of terrain in the remote orogenic movement and the long washing and erosion of water and glaciers.

Juxi Village film shooting base of Panfeng Town

Juxi village can date back to Southern Song dynasty. The Ancestral Temple of Family Kong preserved in the town was built in late Ming dynasty and early Qing dynasty. It is primitive and magnificent. In 2006, it was honored as a key cultural heritage under national protection. The film Founding of the Army was shot in the village.

Damin Village film location shooting base of Shuangfeng town

Damin village was built during the regency of Emperor Wuzong in Tang dynasty. Ancient houses, lanes, villages, wells, and trees make it an “ancient village of Ming and Qing dynasties in Dapan Mountain.” Two seasons of the popular TV drama, Grave Robbery Note, was filmed here.

Gaokeng Village film location shooting base of Renchuan town

Surrounded by mountains, Gaokeng village is blessed with abundant natural resources. People use bamboo products to embellish and enclose the village and exhibit the local culture with idle farm tools.
