Liangzhu STEM courses promote cultural inheritance

On November 21, at the 2nd Yangtze River Delta International Cultural Industries Expo, Zhejiang Province Cultural Industry Investment Group and the Administrative Committee of Hangzhou Liangzhu Historical Site co-hosted an initiation ceremony of the Yangtze River Delta Research Alliance and released a series of standard courses of “Solid Evidence of the 5,000-year Civilization of China--STEM Exploration of Liangzhu Ancient City”.

“Liangzhu STEM” courses for the whole country are research services integrating the quality resources of the fields of historical archaeology and cultural education, with an aim to boost the inheritance of Chinese culture and promote the comprehensive development and healthy growth of students of primary and middle schools.


The “Liangzhu STEM” series courses are the research fruits created by Hangzhou Liangzhu Cultural Creativity Co., Ltd. for more than a year. The company was co-established by Zhejiang Province Cultural Industry Investment Group and the Administrative Committee of Hangzhou Liangzhu Historical Site.


Liangzhu Ancient City Site has been included into the world’s cultural heritage list. It is a place to show the five-thousand-year civilization of China and a unique cultural resource and IP brand of Zhejiang. STEM is an internationally advanced interdisciplinary education mode, which is of referential significance for the current research practice of primary and middle schools of China and indeed promoting the implementation of the “Opinions on Promoting the Research Tours of Students of Primary and Middle Schools” released by eleven departments such as the Ministry of Education.
