On October 22 of local time, Nancy Pelosi, the speaker of the House of Representatives of the United States, posted on her Tweet account her photo with the like of “culprits behind the chaos of Hong Kong” such as Jimmy Lai and Martin Lee at the Capitol, calling the violent crimes ongoing in Hong Kong as “a non-violent struggle for the democracy and legal governance of Hong Kong”.

On this issue, Hua Chunying, the spokeswoman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China angrily denounced Pelosi as “hypocritical in action, evil in intention and really shameful” on October 24. Meanwhile, she rebuked, Pelosi could enjoy the “beautiful landscape” she appreciated alone. China was not willing to share it with her.

She said, it was because of the naked shielding from the like of Pelosi that those violent rioters became emboldened. “I am wondering when the like of Pelosi can recover their conscience after how much blood the Hong Kong police has shed, how much tear the Hong Kong citizens have shed and how much harm they have to suffer.” As is evident to all, now what’s going on in Hong Kong is 100% street violence and crimes. The rioters are smashing stores, destroying public facilities, beating up innocent citizens and attacking the police in public. They even threaten and harm the lives of the police with extremely cruel means such as spraying strong acid and cutting the throat. All these basic facts are clear and evident.

Meanwhile, Hua Chunying warned Pelosi sternly, “However your eyes have been blinded by your bias, how much evilness has filled your heart, Hong Kong is Hong Kong of China. Any attempt to intervene with Hong Kong will not be realized. Any intention to support the secession of Hong Kong will be in vain. Such tricks might have worked in other places, but in Hong Kong, the territory of China, they will simply be a fancy of yours. You will have to eat the bitter fruit alone.”

A netizen of Tweet replied to Pelosi, “I really admired that some American politicians can tell lies without feeling shame.” And some netizens even posted pictures of Hong Kong police officials being injured by the rioters and questioned Pelosi.
