Chinese Basketball Association on Sunday strongly opposed Houston Rockets general manager Daryl Morey's improper remarks on China's Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

On Saturday, Morey posted a tweet supporting violent protests in Hong Kong.

The association said they will suspend cooperation with the club.
