A flash mob was staged at the Pacific Place in Hong Kong on Tuesday for people to express their patriotism and enduring love for the motherland.

They sang the national anthem andOde to the Motherland, and waved the Chinese national flags.

This is one of a series of similar activities to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China on Oct 1.
