Hong Kong police arrest another two violent protesters

The Hong Kong police in the past two days arrested another two people suspected of offenses including possession of tools for illegal use and criminal damage, the police told a media briefing on Thursday. The police also said several people have been arraigned in court recently. Tse Chun-chung, chief superintendent of public relations branch of Hong Kong Police Force said the ten hot lines that were launched on Sept. 10 for the public to report any clues of violent acts have received warm welcome and support from the society. 


The Hong Kong police reiterated that upholding the rule of law and safeguarding social peace are the bounden duties of them. As long as someone violates the law, no matter what background and identity he has, the police will enforce the law decisively.
