An American who has lived in Hong Kong for 4 years shares his opinions about the new national security law. He thinks that the national security law is really a great thing for the society of Hong Kong. It is in China's best interest to keep Hong Kong autonomous and China has benefited quite a lot from Hong Kong's autonomous status and they want to continue that, so he doesn't see any violation of the "One Country, Two Systems" principle. The national security law will provide a lot of hope and a lot of prosperity in the city of Hong Kong.
