On Oct. 1st, a national flag protection campaign initiated by Safeguard Hong Kong Alliance was officially launched. The alliance is a community group formed by different sectors of the society, with singing of national anthem and display of a giant national flag. On the same day, several tourists from Shaanxi Province of mainland also joined the crowds for the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the founding of PRC.
