The assembly finished at aroung 10 p.m.. The leaders of the assembly claimed that more than 30,000 people participated in the demonstration. The Hong Kong Police indicated that the number of participants exceeded 11,500 during the peak period.
After the assembly, quite a few persons scribbled on the advertising boards with bad comments in protest.
