International art festival shortens the distance between different cultures

The opening ceremony of the 2nd Blue Cube International Art Festival of Fuyang (IAFF) – the Art Exhibition and the International Culture and Art Forum under the "The Belt and Road Initiative" was recently held at Fuchunshan Museum. Artists from the UK, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Turkey, Malaysia, Iran, Nepal, Nigeria, Ukraine, Slovenia, and Taiwan, attended the event.


This art festival celebrated the 70th anniversary of the founding of People's Republic of China and the achievements of China, inviting artists from more than 10 countries to participate.


The international art exhibition area in Gongwang Art Museum has displayed more than 200 artworks including calligraphy, Chinese painting and oil painting created by artists from areas along the "The Belt and Road Initiative" and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. An international sculpture art exhibition was held in the branch of the festival. Wood carvings and stone carvings from African countries were exhibited there. The exhibitions at various pavilions will continue until November 1st.


On the afternoon of the opening ceremony, the International Culture and Art Forum under the "The Belt and Road Initiative" was held. Scholars and artists from home and abroad gathered together to discuss the development direction of the national cultural industry under the "The Belt and Road Initiative".
